Lost Creek Studios: featuring the Artwork and Photography of Kenneth Frizzell

Various Works

Picture
The following are a few examples of my watercolor paintings and my pencil, pen & ink sketches. Some are recent some were done years ago, all the way back to high school. The goal here is to show my range of work and runs the gamut from landscapes to wildlife to portraits. The duck scene directly below is available as a limited edition, signed and numbered print. It depicts the 'grainery' which is the only free standing structure left when Kentucky Lake was made in the 1930's. It is a five story concrete building that was once a transfer station between railroad and barge traffic. Three of those stories are completely submerged now. It is a popular attraction for anglers and boaters, and the military from Ft. Cambell uses it as a landmark when doing maneuvers on the lake.
