Lost Creek Studios: featuring the Artwork and Photography of Kenneth Frizzell

Trading Card Size Paintings

This is something I recently discovered on ebay. ACEO is an acronym for Art Cards, Editions and Originals. These are trading card sized pictures, 2.5"x3.5" that are sold or traded between artists and collectors. This artwork can be framed or kept in collectible albums since they are the same size as baseball/sports cards and other trading cards. They can be any media or subject matter as long as the size is kept the same. They can also be reproductions or prints, but mine are always original paintings unless otherwise specified. The following have all been sold, but I will be continuously painting more. If you are interested in this affordable way to collect artwork, I have some posted on ebay under the user name frizz-art. You can also contact me at [email protected] or visit my blog. I would be happy to do commission work if you have an idea for a painting.

Fun and Affordable!

These little paintings are a lot of fun to paint and they have been quite popular.  Anyone can afford original artwork in this size. I have been accused by fellow artists and critics of using too much detail in my work. The small size of these paintings forces me to work with a more minimalist approach. The detail still surprises some people though. I will be posting more paintings as they are completed.
